We are obsessed with this engagement session by Kat and Leo from The Gathering Season! Jaclyn and Ross are gorgeous and so much fun and I'm so happy the photographers were able to capture these kindred spirits in their natural habitat! And yeah, Fifi is the cutest dog in the world. P.S. Best Dressed awards goes to Jaclyn and Ross!
I was backing up portfolio photos today and came across these photos from a floral and calligraphy workshop I took in San Francisco eons ago! I make it a habit to take workshops to keep my creative juices flowing and jumped on the chance to learn from some of the best! Tulipina and Maybelle Imasa are gems in the industry; super creative, kind, and humble! I hope you enjoyed these photos from the talented photographer Christina McNeill. Head over to Swooned if you want to see more!
P.S. I know, I'm terrible at updating my website, blog, and social media. I will work on sharing more often :) Thanks for visiting!
I get really freakin' excited when I get the opportunity to plan a proposal. Especially if it's for a friend I've known since the Friendster days (Who remembers Friendster?). Nick wanted to plan an intimate and elegant picnic proposal for his lucky lady! We put together a small team of vendors to execute the cutest little surprise proposal filled with her favorite eats, treats, their special champagne, and of course the four legged child had to make an appearance. SO happy for these two! Congrats N+F! Photography by one of our faves, Erich Chen!
Thanks to Erich Chen, Flower Allie, Sweet and Saucy, and Dish Wish for pitching in to help make this day so perfect!
Being a wedding planner, I'm expected to save the day, every day. From wine stains on wedding gowns to crying flower girls. One skill I really want to pick up this year is floral design and arranging. I don't want to quit my awesome gig to become a florist, but it's a nice skill to have...just in case! So, I jumped at the chance to attend a workshop with the sweet and talented Heather from Twig & Twine. Her flowers are always so pretty, whimsical, and free. I love her eco friendly and organic approach to floral design. As much as possible, Heather buys from local growers and composts all the leftover greens. Minimal manipulation, conscious buying, and wildly beautiful arrangements.
After 3 hours and 2 glasses of wine, I was able to arrange a bouquet I'm super proud of. Many thanks to Heather for the fun class and hugs to Vanessa Ha for these beautiful photos.
ps. more blog posts to come!
